Reuse for Refugees 11/14 Drive

UPDATE 3/1/22:

Reuse for Refugees is no longer just a one-day drive! Visit the Reuse for Refugees page to learn how you can take advantage of this program any day, anywhere in the five boroughs.

UPDATE 12/1/21:

Thank you Park Slope & Gowanus! You delivered big time for New Yorkers in need. In just one day, you were able to donate six sofas, several office and arm chairs, plus four dressers, desks and bed frames.

UPDATE 11/10/21:

This event is fully booked but Ruth’s Refuge is always in need of more furniture and housewares. To submit an item you would like to drop-off at Ruth’s Refuge.

Suggested donation: $50/item, more for additional items and flights of stairs.

Our partner, Ruth’s Refuge, is devoted to providing furniture and home essentials to refugees and asylum seekers in New York City. On Sunday, November 14th, we are partnering with them to collect much needed sofas and dressers to furnish apartments for newly arriving Afghan families.

Sunday, November 14, 2021 9AM - 2PM

Pick-ups: South Slope, Park Slope & Gowanus

Ruth’s Refuge welcome donations of sturdy, new-looking furniture. All items must be in good working order, without stains, rips or needed repair (sofas must be from pet & smoke free homes).
