Confirm your moving date with a deposit. You don’t pay the full balance of your move until the service is complete. Read our full terms and conditions here.

Get packed or rent reusable bins for us to pack for you. We’ll also provide Certificates of Insurance for moving. You can always adjust your item list for an updated flat rate.

What was “Moving Day?”
We know that the very end and beginning of the month are busy moving days. But imagine if everyone’s lease was up on the exact same day. That was the case in New York City up until World War II. Every NYC renter packed their belongings and headed to their new digs on May 1st, Moving Day. “Moving Day (in Little Old New York)” ca. 1827 depicts the chaos of large items spilling out of gridlocked horse-drawn carriages.
Later, with the introduction of elevators, moving services adapted to the city's burgeoning skyline, now needing to navigate vertical spaces in high-rise buildings. Building rules around moving also changed in response. The 20th century brought motor vehicles, transforming moving processes in efficiency and scale.
